Sauna timber is left bare. At bathing temperature lacquer and oil soften, smell and seal the wood, which is there to take up moisture. What remains is the sanding and an eased edge — bare skin touches it.

Made from solid timber. Grain pattern and shade differ between pieces — that is a property of the material, not a defect.
